Cllr Cliff Roper is at it again.
If it weren’t bad enough him bringing the party into disrepute before, he’s doing it again.
We have all seen the nasty lies Roper has been spreading about Cllr Lewis Allsebrook and other British National Party members and his vain promises that he will change, but does a leopard ever change its spots?
He has now named his fellow councillor on a wall of shame!! Roper will have you think that he votes with party policy, but how can he say that, when he hasn’t even signed his name to uphold party policy.
What has Cliff Roper ever done for the BNP? There is a simple answer to that … NOTHING!!!
Cliff Roper has even insulted the party leader Nick Griffin during the leadership campaign (on his exclusive ‘blog’ of course, because he’s not man enough to say anything to his face). There is no surprise there; he won’t even speak at council meetings.
I have it on good authority by a number of people that Cliff Roper hardly ever speaks at council or branch meetings and he can’t say anything without a prearranged script. What kind of councillor is that?
What if someone asked him a question that wasn’t in his pre-prepared script, will he tell them to ask again when he has had time to think about it, or when he’s had chance to ask his script writer?
Why are Lewis and Cliff at odds again? There is a simple answer ……Cliff is a RED!!!
It is obvious he is a secret red because he has fuelled the Socialist website with information all the way. For proof of this, just log onto Amber Valley Labour Party website, where Cliff’s articles take pride of place.
He may well have deleted the offending articles from his own ‘blog’ (only because the party hierarchy told him to do so) but that doesn’t stop him from sharing them with the reds before their deletion.
Even more reason to suspect him as a red is the way he sided with the loony left in the recent council vote on the future of Ripley Gateway.
The sale of Ripley Gateway will provide Ripley with new facilities including new football, cricket and rugby pitches plus a relief road for Codnor linking up to the A610 from Ripley (for which Codnor has been asking for over 30 years to relieve the horrendous traffic congestion in Codnor).
In addition there would be a great disadvantage to Amber Valley residents. Due to government cut backs the council needs to substantially raise funds or the council tax will rise.
Cllr Allsebrook voted in favour of the motion to sell the land to Morrison’s, as he realised that the sale provides substantial funding for local improvements and that any development still needs to gain planning permission, therefore further consultation will take place if Morrison’s are to gain planning permission.
So why pass up an opportunity for improvement and funding for Ripley?
Cllr Roper (self-appointed leader on the Amber Valley borough council) expected Cllr Allsebrook to be a mind reader. At no time did mute Roper discuss his voting with Cllr Allsebrook or advise which way the party wished any of their representatives to vote.
As the council always take votes in alphabetical order of the delegate’s surname then Cllr Allsebrook assumed it was a free vote and voted the way dictated to by his own conscience and this was way before Cllr Roper had his chance to vote.
Cllr Roper, who now feels so strongly about the Ripley Gateway decision, didn’t even speak to the council motion or try to convince anyone to vote against the sale.
Perhaps he thinks the Tories have the power of telepathy too?
Despite all the discussions on who voted which way on this motion, there were sufficient members of the ruling party present to ensure the vote was passed by the council, making this whole argument irrelevant.
The subsequent unwarranted assault on Cllr Allsebrook’s integrity has further been insulted by Cllr Roper placing him at the top of his ‘hall of shame’ on his exclusive ‘blog‘.
Who needs enemies with friends like this?
In conclusion, if Cliff Roper is a secret red, who else within the party is too???
It seems amazing that whatever Cliff says or does he is forgiven, yet when anyone else makes a tiny mistake they never hear the end of it.
Therefore folks, watch your back!!!!
