I was
unfortunate enough last night to have received a sought after elusive
invitation to the worst ever Amber Valley BNP meeting, I only now wish I had not bothered going and had watched Corrie instead. Only 4 members from Amber Valley bothered to
turn up, the rest of the people had been dragged there from all over the East
Midlands for appearances sake and to bolster the flagging attendance figures.
Whoever had
organised the shambolic meeting had been unable to find anywhere within Amber
Valley and resorted instead to a public house within the area of Broxtowe (or
Giltbrook to be exact). How it could therefore be called an Amber Valley
meeting mystifies me as it was neither held in Derbyshire nor had many members
attending from anywhere within Amber Valley.
Of course,
Paul Hilliard was present to give his usual speech (as if we have not all heard
it several times before!!) and to declare himself the Grand Dictator of
Derbyshire in the absence of an Amber Valley or Broxtowe organiser. It seems his power hungry antics will stop at
nothing to achieve the ultimate post within the party, so watch your back Nick
Griffin, you may well be his next victim.
Proud as
punch, sitting at the top table was SOS (Self Obsessed Slapper), it very much
looks like her rise to success has been orchestrated by her devotion to the
Grand Dictator himself, and she has obtained her goal of becoming the secretary
of the area. It is very much a pity that
those who have promoted her did not take into account her literacy skills. I dread to think what the official letters
will look like now she must compose them by herself. Hope the spellchecker on her PC knows how to
read minds as she often gets the completely wrong word not just the wrong
spelling.
The one good
thing about the choice of location was the drinks were cheap, then again
everyone needed quite a few to cut the tension and get over the smarmy attitude
of Mr Hilliard and Mrs Roper’s cooing plus admiring glances of affection at her
new boss!!! Anyone would think they have
been planning this takeover for a while.
